All questionsKen Bus works with any modern hot water, cold water or energy meter that supports the M-Bus protocol. Older mechanical meters can be brought into the system by adding M-Bus compatible pulse output modules.
Billing uses the current readings and follows the building's cost-sharing regulation and management plan exactly — including, for example, the shared-area portion for hot water.
Readings and the resulting itemised invoices are shared automatically through Kendin Yönet, by SMS, mobile app notification or email.
Ken Bus watches signal strength between the meters and the central gateway continuously. If a connection drops, a battery dies or a meter fails, the manager receives an automatic alert in the Kendin Yönet panel.
It depends on the number of meters and the layout of the building. Because wireless M-Bus is normally used, cabling is kept to a minimum. Placing the gateways and commissioning the system is quick.
